The IMWA is not replacing National, IWF CAT 1 + 2 TO's. Our courses are an addition to help us run our championship and to widen our Masters Weightlifting family from the other side of the Competition Platforms.
ALL TECHNICAL OFFICIALS ZOOM COURSES are open to anyone regardless of level.

STEPS YOU NEED TO KNOW AND TO TAKE:
We contact you because you have shown interest and registered to become an IMWA Technical Official to help out at any national, Continental and World Masters Weightlifting Championship. You have participated our Technical Official ZOOM courses in the various positions or you follow them on our IMWLA YouTube Channel.
If you have not yet done so, your next step is to do the Online Theoretical exams based on 62 questions of the IWF and IMWLA Technical and Competition Rules.
For anyone taking practical exams, the Theoretical exams must be done first.
If you have not done these exams yet, please contact us and we will send you the IMWLA Theoretical Exams online link. You will receive the results directly to your contact email.
After you receive the results you are eligible to officiate in any available position based on the Technical Official Career pathway you have chosen,
We produce a GOOGLE DRIVE SHARED SIGN-UP SHEET whereon you can sign-up.
ON ALL OUR CHAMPIONSHIP SIGN-UP SHEETS PLEASE ALWAYS READ THE TOP INFORMATION, WHICH IS THE BASIC INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW.
Once you have officiated at the required number of sessions based on your chosen TO Career Pathway, you will be eligible to sit your practical exams during our championships.
The practical exams consist of been the CENTER REFEREE and to referee minimum 70 max. 100 lifts from 1 session.
At all our events we will keep the data of all your officiated sessions.
Whenever you are ready to sit the practical exams
At the European Masters Championships the Technical Official fee is EUR 10 per officiated session.
